Eistee Rezepte im Tea-Jay: Pina Colada und Guave-Kokos

Für den Hausgebrauch würde ich auch keine zusätzlichen Eiswürfel in den fertigen Eistee geben, er kommt für meinen Geschmack kühl genug aus dem Tea-Jay und wir wollen ja keine Verwässerung. Aber so, wie es gut schmeckt, nämlich mit stark gebrautem Tee und ohne Eiswürfel, sah das einfach nicht hübsch aus. Den Laden hier kennt ihr ja mittlerweile.

Die Special Edition Lakrids Summer* besteht aus einem Lakritzkern in weißer Schokolade mit unfassbar fruchtigem Pfirsichgeschmack. Und die Dosen, liebe Kinder, die Dosen!!

Gut gemachter Eistee ist zwar lecker, aber es ist und bleibt nur ein Getränk. Und Getränke können niemals mit etwas zum Essen mithalten. Es folgt ein kitschiges kleines Herz, da ich meine große Liebe zum Essen nur unzureichend in Worte fassen kann: ♥ Damit möchte ich für heute schließen.

Ich habe Eistee bisher in einer Karaffe zubereitet: Mit kaltem Wasser füllen, Teefilter rein, über Nacht in den Kühlschrank, fertig! Am nächsten Morgen hat man den leckersten Eistee, finde ich, weil sich der Teegeschmack unaufgebrüht nochmal ganz anders entwickelt. Funktioniert übrigens auch mit Kaffee! ;)

Aber schlagen wird das vor allem den Drehmoment des Tea-Jays wahrscheinlich nicht ;)

Ah, das ist die legendäre Cold Brew-Variante, nicht wahr? Ich wusste gar nicht, dass das auch mit Tee geht. Interessant, dass sich der Geschmack da ganz anders entwickelt, aber eigentlich logisch. Das probiere ich allein aus Neugier gleich mal aus. Meine Dosis Tea-Jay-Drehen hatte ich für heute ja schon ;)

Ah ich habe bis jetzt diesen Tea Jay nie für nötig gehalten und schon seit drei Jahren oder so gekonnt ignoriert. Hm aber schick und gut zum Angeben geeignet ist er ja schon.

Den Samova Garden Party hab ich sogar zu Hause, der ist auch normal aufgebrüht echt lecker, und diese kleinen Teegläser mit der Blume stehen hier auch!

Ich liebe den Cocktail abgöttisch, weil die Kombination von Kokos und Ananas einfach unschlagbar ist!

Als Eistee stelle ich mir das auch klasse vor! :)

das erinnert mich daran, dass ich den Tea-Jay seit über einem Jahr orginal verpackt im Schrank stehen habe und endlich einweihen sollte. Eistee trinke ich nämlich sehr gerne und auch das Video des Herstellers fand ich vor dem Kauf so toll, aber dann hab ich es immer vor mir her geschoben, ihn zu verwenden, bis ich gar nicht mehr daran gedacht habe. Am Wochenende ist er fällig ;-)

Waaas, das hast du ausgehalten? Du bist ja krass :D Sag nicht, dass du auch abwarten kannst, bis Cremefüllungen im Kühlschrank fest werden?!

Man kann ja mehr Cremefüllung zubereiten. vorsichtshalber;-) Dass man dann hin und wieder (also alle paar Minuten) probieren muss, ob sie noch gut ist, versteht sich von selbst ;-)

Tipp gegen die Verwässerung: Eiswürfel einfach aus Tee, Saft, Kaffee (für Eiskaffee) usw. machen :) Liebe Grüsse

Ja, stimmt - super, danke dir! Eiswürfel mit Blumen drin hab ich schon gemacht, weil es schön aussieht. Aber auf diese praktische Idee bin ich noch nicht gekommen ;)

Also stylisch ist das Ding ja schon und die Rezepte klingen ziemlich verlockend, wie immer ;) Aber irgendwie ist mir der Tea-Jay dann doch zu teuer, wenn man den Eistee auch so machen kann. Und nachdem wir sowieso selten Besuch bei uns haben sondern immer wo anders sind, kann ich auch außer meinem Freund niemanden mit dem Dreh-Move begeistern. Aber ich finde die Idee mit dem Eistee an sich gut - muss ich auch mal wieder machen! Und vielleicht bekomme ich den Pina Colada auch in irgendeiner Form hin.

Das geht ganz bestimmt! Wichtig für einen guten Eistee ist nur - Madame hat sich schlau gemacht - das schnelle Runterkühlen vom Tee. Wenn man ihn stundenlang bei Raumtemperatur abkühlen lässt, wird er schal oder es setzt sich Zeug ab. Aber im Prinzip kannst du ja genau das machen, was auch der Tea-Jay macht: Starken Tee aufbrühen und über Eiswürfel gießen. Da muss man dann halt etwas probieren, welches Mischungsverhältnis optimal ist, aber das sollte nach ein paar Versuchen klappen. Oder die Idee von Kirsten oben finde ich auch interessant, den Tee kalt aufzubrühen!

Habe mal gelesen, dass Tee kalt aufbrühen gerade bei Früchtetee von Vorteil ist weil die nicht so sauer werden aaaaber dann schreiben andere wiederum, dass die Teeblätter aus hygienischen Gründen mit heißem Wasser gebrüht werden sollten. Also, koche ich morgens ähnlich wie beim Tee Jay, ein Konzentrat und vermische es mit normal kaltem Wasser. Dann bald in den Kühlschrank und ab Mittag ist der schön kalt. Oder für die schnelle Variante eben Eiswürfel.

"Mit sprudelnd kochendem Wasser aufgießen, nur dann erhalten Sie ein sicheres Getränk" - das habe ich auch schon mal auf einer Kräutertee-Packung gelesen. Könnte mir schon vorstellen, dass in den trockenen Teeblättern manchmal Schimmel o.Ä. ist. Den Billig-Beuteltee vom Aldi brüh ich deswegen tatsächlich nur mit kochendem Wasser auf, bei teurem Lose-Tee bilde ich mir ein, dass der völlig clean ist. ähm, naja. Deine Methode klingt gut und strapaziert den Kühlschrank auch nicht mit heißen Dampfschwaden!

Liebe Vera, jetzt hab ich mir die letzten Jahre also erfolgreich eingeredet, dass ich den Tea Jay nicht brauche, weil man kann ja auch prima Tee am Vortag kochen, in den Kühhlschrank stellen, gefrorene Beeren und Eiswürfel rein und fertig. Klar. Meist wars es dann schon wieder draußen kalt- so richtig spontan war das eben bisher nicht.

Hehe. Genau das war es bei mir auch, liebe Mareike! Ich bin ja überhaupt kein Mensch, der immer so weit im Voraus plant und z.B. am Vortag Kichererbsen einweicht. Wenn, dann habe ich JETZT Lust auf Kichererbsen, Eistee oder was auch immer :)

Meinen Eistee (grüner Tee, Limette, Ingwer, Minze) kühle ich immer indem ich die Kanne in das Spülbecken mit kaltem Wasser - aber mit dem Tea Jay kann das auch nicht mithalten. Mein Herz bringt so ein Eistee aber auch nicht so zum Hüpfen wie ne Wurst oder Käsekuchen ;-).

Die Kombi klingt ja auch total lecker. Deine Rezepte sind überhaupt voll toll - Lotus-Wurzel-Pommes, wie cool ist das denn! Ich hatte die Dinger mal in einem Chinanudel-Rezept verwendet (wenn du gucken magst: http://www.nicestthings.com/2012/11/chinese-noodles-with-pak-choy-and-lotus.html), aber gekocht waren die nicht so der Knaller. Deine Pommes probier ich garantiert mal aus!

Hey Markus, au ja, komm vorbei! Ich freu mich riesig, dass dir die Bilder gefallen, dankeschön :) Einen Eistee-Foto-Workshop brauchst du aber gar nicht, finde ich. Wir könnten aber wunderbar zusammen einen Eistee nach dem anderen mixen, knipsen und wegschlürfen, okay?

ja, hübsch. wenn ich tatsächlich öfter gäste hätte, die ich beeindrucken wollen würde :D

aber ich kann auch gut mit abgekühltem tee leben (eisiges bringt mich ja nur noch mehr ins schwitzen) - am liebsten koche ich ne runde frische minze, wenn's heiß ist (kann man ja auch abends für den nächsten tag machen) :)

Stimmt! Machen das nicht die Marokkaner oder Menschen in der Wüste auch so, Minztee trinken, und zwar wirklich warmen? Die müssen es ja wissen, wie man mit Hitze umgeht. Ich meine, dass der Körper, wenn man viel Eiswasser reinschüttet, erst recht in den Heizmodus verfällt.

Okay. Ich bin ungemein angefixt - und dass du auch noch einen Sale mit Skandimöbeln anpreist, ist echt nicht fair. Hier platzt schon nahezu alles vor Kartons, die in letzter Zeit ankamen.. Naja. Beim Geldbeutel ist es zunehmend (oder eher abnehmend) weniger der Fall. Aaaaber - wenn jemand etwas für Eistee anpreist, bin ich sofort dabei. Sollte ich davon erzählen oder es lieber verheimlichen, dass ich erst vorgestern so einen Getränkespender geschrottet habe, weil der Tee wohl doch nicht so gut abgekühlt war wie erwartet? Die Vorstellung von einem sommerlichen 4l Eistee der auch noch hübsch aussieht war wohl doch etwas zu weit hergeholt.. und da bin ich wohl ein bisschen wie Du: eindeutig zu ungeduldig. War in jungen Jahren schon so, wenn man Fruchtzwerge-Eis machen wollte. Pff. Dauert alles viel zu lange!

Wahrscheinlicher wäre aber gewesen, dass ich den Eistee einfach im Froster vergessen und erst beim Hunger auf Pizza wiedergefunden hätte.

Yeah, cooles Rezept! Da muss dann aber noch ein Papierschirmchen dran, unbedingt.

Das klingt echt mega lecker! Ich stelle dein Tee meistens auch für einige Stunden in den Kühlschrank. Dieser Tea Jay ist schon irgendwie ganz fancy ;)

Schickes Ding dein Jay, ich mach immer ganz altmodisch den Tee (optimalerweise bereits am Morgen, dann ist er am Nachmittag nämlich kalt), indem ich in einem großen Krug den Tee ziehen lasse, mit Honig süße und kurz danach einen Kühlakku dazu stelle!

Gut wenn man ein paar davon hat, so kann man tauschen wenn einer warm ist.

Wenn er Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat, werfe ich noch TK-Himbeeren und Zitronenscheiben oder was halt sonst reinpasst hinein, durch die Himbeeren bekommt er eine tolle Farbe + säuerliche Note. Dann noch Eiswürfel dazu und servieren (und natürlich genießen)!

Hau raus, hier ist alles erlaubt!

PS: Gerade in meinen Statistiken gesehen, dass jemand mit der Suchanfrage "gei*er Kuchen" auf meinem Blog gelandet ist. Oh nein! Wir müssen uns doch in der Ausdrucksweise mäßigen, sonst ziehen wir nur die Schmuddelkinder an (schaut panisch um sich). Ich schlage brillant oder fabulös als Ersatz vor.

Bei der hitze kann es nichts besseres geben, das sieht so erfrischend und lecker aus!

'They're my babies': The extraordinary moment broody gorilla Koko uses SIGN LANGUAGE to tell trainers she has adopted two tiny cats - because she doesn't have babies of her own

Koko the gorilla is famous for having learned a large number of hand signs from a modified version of American Sign Language.

But less well known is the fact that she absolutely loves babies - despite not having had the opportunity to have any of her own.

She often signs the word ‘baby’, carries gorilla dolls in her arms, and even pretends that her dolls can sign by moving their arms and hands.

So in celebration of the ape's 44th birthday, her trainer Francine Patterson introduced her to some other babies - a litter of kittens.

During her meeting with the kittens, she made the sign for ‘cat’ followed by ‘baby’ — telling her trainers the kittens were now her adopted children. She also asked in sign language for one of the kittens to be placed on her head.

Despite her huge hands being the size of the young cats, Koko was gentle with the tiny balls of fluff when they arrived in a cardboard box, carefully flicking a finger out to stroke them.

Later, another little kitten is filmed desperately trying to get out of an animal carrier bag in order to snuggle up to the great ape.

Information provided alongside the video states that the gorilla and two of the kittens are now part of one happy family.

Writing alongside the video, the kokoflix account noted: 'Koko got her birthday wish this July 4th - not only did one kitten come to visit, but a whole litter.

'Koko fell in love with one, and the other fell in love with her. Koko has adopted these two kittens into her family, and it has energized her world.

'Not only have Koko's maternal and play instincts kicked in, but she is signing more to her caregivers and generating new content every day that can be used by The Gorilla Foundation to create empathy for great apes.'

The foundation noted that new content can have significant benefits to both endangered free-living great apes and those in captive environments.

And that it encourages the development of two-way communication with their caregivers, something that Koko has had since she was a baby.

Koko, who was born at San Francisco Zoo, has spent most of her life at The Gorilla Foundation in Woodside.

According to the foundation's website, she spent a lot of her time with two male gorillas - but did not initiate mating with either. She formed a 'sibling relationship' with one, which died in 2000, and is yet to show interest in mating with the other, despite getting along with them 'very well'.

She is also living in an unnatural social situation - and attempts to bring other female gorillas into the family have apparently failed.

A post on the site reads: 'Koko's greatest wish is to have a baby of her own.

'We've known this for years, as she often signs the word BABY and carries her gorilla dolls the way gorilla mothers carry their babies.

'She even pretends that her baby dolls can sign by molding their arms and hands in play or in response to questions.'

Koko has also previously expressed a love for kittens, asking foundation workers for a cat for Christmas in 1984 via her 'sign language'.

The gorilla's vocal and breathing behaviours associated with the ability to talk were thought to be impossible in her species.

In the 1930s and 40s, a number of psychologists attempted to raise chimpanzees alongside human children, attempting and failing to teach them to speak. Since then it has been generally accepted that apes are not able to voluntarily control the sounds they produce or even their breathing.

Experts also believed the vocal repertoire of each ape species to be fixed, so that they are unable to learn new sounds and breathing patterns.

This would suggest the human ability to speak is unique.

Postdoctoral researcher Marcus Perlman said: 'This idea says there's nothing that apes can do that is remotely similar to speech.

'And therefore, speech essentially evolved - completely new - along the human line since our last common ancestor with chimpanzees.'

Dr Perlman, of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, started research work at The Gorilla Foundation in 2010, where Koko has spent more than 40 years living immersed with humans and interacting for hours a day with psychologist Penny Patterson and biologist Ron Cohn.

'I went there with the idea of studying Koko's gestures, but as I got into watching videos of her, I saw her performing all these amazing vocal behaviours,' he said. The vocal and breathing behaviours he saw were thought to be impossible, he said.

Together with Nathaniel Clark of the University of California, Santa Cruz, he sifted 71 hours of video of Koko interacting and found repeated examples of her performing nine different voluntary behaviours that required control over her vocalisation and breathing.

These were learned behaviours and not part of the typical gorilla repertoire, seemingly disproving previous theories.

The researchers observed Koko blowing a 'raspberry' when she wanted a treat, blowing her nose into a tissue, playing wind instruments, blowing on a pair of glasses before wiping them with a cloth and mimicking phone conversations by chattering wordlessly into a telephone cradled between her ear and the crook of an elbow.

'She doesn't produce a pretty, periodic sound when she performs these behaviours, like we do when we speak,' Dr Perlman says.

'But she can control her larynx enough to produce a controlled grunting sound.'

KOKO THE GORILLA WAS MOVED BY ROBIN WILLIAMS' DEATH

News of Robin Williams's untimely death last year hit Koko hard.

The gorilla's handlers said she was moved nearly to tears by the news that her friend had passed away.

In 2001, Williams visited the Gorilla Foundation centre and quickly befriended Koko, making her laugh for the first time in six months.

When her carers explained to Koko, who is fluent in American Sign Language, that a friend of the center had died, she soon became sad and was pictured sitting hunched over with a quivering lip.

Koko even signed the words 'cry lip' - lip being her word for woman - as she watched staff reacting to the news.

'She became extremely sad, Dr Penny Patterson wrote on Koko.org.

Footage from the day Koko and Williams met is as uplifting as his suicide is tragic.

The actor arrived there as a stranger to the gorilla with a personal interest in ape conservation. He left as Koko's friend.

Strahlend weiße Zähne sind nur den wenigsten Menschen von Natur aus vergönnt. In der Regel sieht das Gebiss eher gelblich aus; wer viel Kaffee oder schwarzen Tee trinkt, ärgert sich zudem noch mit unschönen dunklen Verfärbungen rum. Bisher galt Bleaching als Mittel der Wahl zum blitzblanken Saubermannlächeln. Das Problem: Die Methode ist nicht nur teuer, sondern auch umstritten, weil sie den Zahnschmelz und im ungünstigen Fall auch das Zahnfleisch angreift. Autsch!

Wesentlicher kostengünstiger und schonender scheint hier ein neuer Beauty-Trend mit Kokosöl zu sein. Um Ablagerungen zu lösen und die Zähne aufzuhellen, muss der Mund täglich ein paar Minuten lang mit dem Öl gespült werden. Das klingt gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wer aber einmal eine Routine entwickelt hat, wird das sogenannte „Öl-Ziehen“ bald problemlos in die Zahnreinigung integrieren können.

Für den Reinigungseffekt muss ein halber Esslöffel des Kokosöls in den Mund genommen und mindestens fünf bis maximal 20 Minuten lang hin- und hergewendet werden, bis die Zähne und das Zahnfleisch ordentlich getränkt sind. Anschließend empfiehlt es sich das Öl nicht direkt in den Ausfluss zu spucken, da sonst Verstopfungen drohen. Besser ist es, in ein Glas zu spucken und den Ölrest anschließend mit ein wenig Wasser und Spülmittel zu vermengen und dann zu entsorgen.

Wissenschaftliche Belege für die Wirksamkeit des Öl-Ziehens im Mund gibt es bisher nicht. Allerdings verfügen pflanzliche Öle über eine antibiotische Wirkung, was vermuten lässt, dass ihre Anwendung im Mundbereich zumindest für eine bessere Flora sorgt.

Coco Cheated On Ice-T? Rapper AP.9 Shopping Alleged Sex Tape With Vegas Performer

A relatively unknown rapper is reportedly trying to shop a sex tape starring him and Ice-T's wife, Coco Austin

Publicist Kali Bowyer reached out to RumorFix with news of the alleged sex tape offer made by AP.9. Apparently she received a call from AP.9's reps asking for “help to promote and sell pictures and video above the 100k offer.” Bowyer was told that the rapper “has various pics, audio and footage of him placing his hand into her private parts, acts of oral sex, doggy style positions with miscellaneous graphic exploits and sexual conduct.”

Bowyer rebuffed the rapper's offer, telling RumorFix, ”While I personally will NOT engage in something so crude and disgusting, I have no hesitation in blowing the lid off his intentions."

Whether a happily married woman in the public eye would make a sex tape with an unknown rapper all while filming a reality show seems pretty unlikely to us.

But rumors that Coco cheated on Ice surfaced in December after photos of her and the California rapper spread online. The "Peepshow" star apologized to her husband and fans on Twitter, but the gossip refused to dissipate.

AP.9 then claimed he had naked photos of Coco in his bed (which her camp denied) and gave an interview to Star magazine about their supposed Sin City hook-up.

Coco addressed the cheating rumors in a recent interview with the Daily Mail. "Ice and I just live our own lives," she said. "I have to answer to him and he has to answer to me and that's it. We don't care about the outside world and even though it can be harsh out there, we just have to deal with it."

Coco and Ice have been married for over 10 years and she told the Daily Mail that there is absolutely no truth to rumors they are headed for divorce.
