Stan’s Coffee began as a family business providing local coffee service to the Fort Myers area and expanded to providing food service and dry goods. Today, we continue to build on our original founding principles – to provide the best customer service, and to offer consistent quality, value, and a good working environment for our staff.

Der Jura Kaffee Malabar Monsooned ist eine 100% Arabica Mischung aus Indien. Dieser Kaffee zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine ungewöhnliche Behandlung nach der Ernte aus, das man „Monsooning“ nennt: Er wird zunächst für fünf Tage im Monsunregen gewaschen und anschließend 7 Wochen in den Monsunwinden getrocknet. Dieses Verfahren gibt diesem Kaffee einen unverwechselbaren, ausgeprägten und geschmeidigen Geschmack mit einer sehr guten Verträglichkeit und ohne Säure. Der Kaffee hat einen würzigen, kraftvollen Körper und ist weich und vollmundig. Jura empfiehlt diesen säurearmen Kaffee als Espresso am Abend oder für einen Café Crème.
Der Jura Kaffee Decaffeinato besteht aus Arabica-Bohnen aus Zentralamerika und aus Robusta-Bohnen aus Indonesien. Er wird auf Wasserbasis entkoffeiniert. Der Kaffee entwickelt das typische Espressoaroma und wird von Jura für Espresso, Café Crème oder Kaffeespezialitäten mit Milch empfohlen.
Der Jura Kaffee Impressa Espresso besteht aus 85 % Arabica-Bohnen aus Kolumbien, Costa Rica, Nicaragua und Brasilien Kaffees und 15 % Robusta-Bohnen aus Indien. As coffee connoisseurs know, coffee is interwoven throughout Portugal’s social, literary and economic history, but coffee has played a much more intimate and personal role in this Portuguese writer’s life.
What can you expect in a Portuguese coffee shop?
One of the most common drinks in Portugese cafes.
In Portugal most people don’t have an espresso machine in their house. If you’re entertaining friends you offer them Port wine. If they want a coffee, you invite your guests to go with you to your neighbourhood pastry shop/ coffee shop/ bakery, where coffee is affordable and the atmosphere is relaxing. What can you expect when you get to the coffee shop?
Most people like to order something to accompany their coffee and sometimes that is another drink. Cheirinho isn’t a real drink, but a generic name for spirited drinks that are used to this purpose, like whiskey, brandy and Aguardente.
What About Prices?
The major coffee brands in Portugal are Buondi and Delta. The price for a cup of coffee ranges between 0.40Ђ ($0.50 USD) to 0.60Ђ, ($0.73 USD).
Many tourists assume that Portugal is famous only for Vinho do Porto (Port) and they are surprised when they discover that we also have a strong coffee culture that goes back many years. Did you know, for example that Portugal was responsible for introducing coffee production to Brazil?

Der Cappuccino hat viele Fans – in Italien ebenso wie in anderen Ländern. Aber nicht alle wissen, dass man auch zu Hause einen perfekten Cappuccino zubereiten kann, wenn man erst einmal die optimale Menge an Dampf und Schaum gefunden hat. Voraussetzung ist natürlich, dass man eine Espresso-Maschine mit Dampfstrahl besitzt. Ein Cappuccino hat etwa 150 ml und setzt sich aus einem Espresso (30 ml) sowie Milch und Milchschaum zu gleichen Teilen zusammen.
Die Zubereitung eines perfekten Cappuccino:
- Eine Metallkanne zu einem Drittel mit kalter Milch füllen.
- Für etwa zwei Sekunden die Heißwasserdüse öffnen, um kondensiertes Wasser auslaufen zu lassen.
- Die Spitze der Heißwasserdüse in die Milch tauchen und den Dampfstrahl anschalten. Sobald der erste Milchschaum sich bildet und das Volumen steigt, die Kanne ein wenig sinken lassen, damit die Düse unter der Milchoberfläche bleibt. Außerdem die Kanne ein wenig schräg halten, um einen Wirbeleffekt in der Milch zu erzeugen, ansonsten jedoch keine unnötigen Bewegungen ausführen.
- Weiterhin Dampf zuführen bis die Milch ihr Volumen verdoppelt hat (maximal 65°C).
- Um Blasen in der Milch zu beseitigen, die Unterseite der Kanne auf einer ebenen Fläche kurz aufstoßen.
- Einen Espresso in einer großen Tasse zubereiten.
- Die Milch von der Mitte ausgehend direkt in die Tasse gießen.
- Zum Schluss noch einmal die Düse einschalten, um eventuelle Milchreste zu entfernen.
Der perfekte Schaum
Die Konsistenz des Schaums hängt vom Fettgehalt der Milch ab. Vollmilch sorgt für einen cremigen, dichten und samtigen Schaum. Der Schaum von teilweise entrahmter Milch ist weniger dicht. Komplett entrahmte Milch erinnert an Windbäckerei und löst sich sofort auf. Für einen perfekten Cappuccino empfiehlt sich frische Vollmilch oder zumindest teilentrahmte Milch.
